Click on the green "START"
button. Select "All programs",
"Accessories", "Communications"
and "New connection Wizard.
- A
window will appear saying
"Welcome to the new connection
wizard". Click "NEXT".
- You
will be asked, "What do
you want to do?" Select
"Connect to the internet"
then click "Next"
- You
will then be asked, "How
do you want to connect to
the Internet?" Select "
Set up my connection manually"
then click "Next"
- You
will then be asked again
"How do you want to connect
to the Internet?" Select
"Connect using a broadband
connection that requires
a username and password"
then click "Next"
- It
will then ask you to type
in the name of you ISP in
the following box. Type
in "Mycybernet Highspeed"
then click "Next"
- It
will then ask you for your
User name and password.
Make sure your username
consists of the entire address.
username@mycybernet.net
You will have to type your
password in twice. Once
in the "Password" field
and once in the "Confirm
Password" field.
- Underneath
the "Confirm password" field
you will see three check
boxes. Remove the check
from the box called "Turn
on internet connection Firewall
for this connection" Once
all the information has
been entered click "Next"
- It
will then say "Completing
the New connection Wizard"
- Near
the bottom of this window
you will see a check box
that says "Add a shortcut
to this connection to my
desktop" place a check in
this box.
- Click
"Finish"
- The
Shortcut will be added to
your desktop. Simply double
click on the shortcut and
click the "Connect" button
