E-mail - Netscape 7 Setup
- Open the Netscape Mail & Newsgroups program. At the top of the window click the Edit menu, then click the "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings" Option.
- Click the "Add Account" button.
- Choose the option for "Mail account" and then click next.
- In the "Your Name" field Type your name as you would like it to appear. In the "Email Address" field type your email address "userid@mycybernet.net". Then click the Next button.
- Select POP for the type of mail server you are using. Type pop.mycybernet.net for the Incoming mail server. Then click the Next button. (Check to make sure that the outgoing or SMTP settings are set to cybernet)*
- In the "User Name" field type your username. Then click the Next button.
- In the "Account Name" field type your email address "userid@mycybernet.net". Then click the Next button.
- Finally make sure all the information is correct and click the Finish button.
*SMTP Setting for Canada Wide and North America Access
Mail (SMPT) Server: smtp2.mycybernet.net
(outgoing mail server requires authentication)
