Windows Technical Issues

 

• Dial-Up Networking could not negotiate a compatible set of network protocols you specified in the Server Type settings. Check your network configuration in the control Panel then try connecting again.

 

• Error 629: The port was disconnected by the remote machine.

• Error 630: The port was disconnected due to hardware failure.

• Error 645: Internal authentication error.

• Error 650: The Remote Access server is not responding.

• Error 676: The line is busy

• Error 678: The computer you are dialing is not answering. Try again later.

• Error 691: Access denied username/password is invalid on the domain.

• Error 718: PPP time out

• I can connect to Mycybernet, but can't browse any webpages.

• The computer you are dialing into cannot establish a DUN connection,

check your password and try again.

 

• The Microsoft dial-up adapter is not installed or working properly.

• The modem is being used by another dial-up networking connection or another program. Disconnect the other connection or close the program, and then try again.

• Unable to open communications port or port already in use.

• You have been disconnected from the computer you dialed. Double-click the connection to try again.
